Kennesaw State University Nursing Spring 2015

Hello. I applied for the ABSN Program for Spring 2015 and was wondering if anyone has heard anything or know when we should hear from KSU regarding our acceptance status.

When I applied for spring 2014, (GPA 3.06, 90.7 on the TEAS), I was told that they primarily look at the math and science (the lowest they went down on the best 5 of 7 math/science courses was 3A's and 2B's). I'm not sure, but I would complete all of the math and science prereqs before applying.

Nothing yet. Though I did receive an email about study abroad opportunities with the nursing department

Ok I just checked my email. I received the study abroad email as well. It's more of a general email in case you are accepted

I got mail today...I was placed on the standby list ? did anybody else receive a notification?

I did receive a letter today - I was accepted to the accelerated program :)

Hopefully those on standby will receive good news. I have to turn in my acceptance contract by November 7th. I will be accepting the spot at KSU which will open up a spot at Georgia State for someone. Wishing everyone good luck at KSU or wherever their future takes them

I checked my mail this evening, and I didn't receive anything. I hope I'm not the only one. I really hope it didn't get lost in the mail. I will wait a few more days.

Congratulations! I'm accepted into the accelerated program as well! However, it says we have to turn in the acceptance contract by October 31st to the School of Nursing. But if you didn't start taking classes by Fall 2014 you will not be considered a student in Spring 2015 so we would have to re-apply to the University as an undergraduate by Nov 7th.
