Kennesaw State University Fall 2015

Is anyone planning on applying to KSU for Fall 2015?

3.23 isn't bad at all! If you do well on the TEAS, you should be fine.

I am new to allnurses. I have read it for years to get info on different topics, but never set up an account until I found this thread. I am taking my TEAS 12/12/14 at KSU, then applying to the Fall 2015 BSN program. I have an overall GPA of 3.88, and a 3.97 GPA for the nursing requirement core classes-I made a B in MICRO lab :( . I am taking CHEM 1151 in the Spring, then 1152 in the summer. I'm almost done with all of the general core requirements too because I wanted to only have nursing classes to focus on when (IF) I get in to the program. I am very nervous about the TEAS on Friday and have been reviewing with the ATI study manual V!

Good luck on the TEAS! @avaughn3

Thank you! @amn729

Hi everyone! I just applied today! As you all can relate, I have worked extremely hard to get to this point, and now I am just praying my scores are good enough. I have an 3.82 GPA, 84 on teas, but 2 Bs in my science lectures and 1 B in lab (all within 2 points!!! Wish they saw that). This is my first time on allnurses; I wanted to connect with others who are working towards the same goal, and hope to offer some support to you all. :)

I am also applying. Do I need to be accepted to the school, before applying for the nursing program? Also, how do you get your official TEAS report to Kennesaw? I took it today at North Georgia. I think my GPA is 3.63 (classes from 20 years ago! B's in English, sociology, statistics...) However my current GPA with all my sciences and recent classes is a 4.0. Math and science GPA is 3.91. Not sure what they will look at? Taking chemistry now and this summer to finish my classes. 91 on the TEAS.

Hey, guys! New to all nurses. However, I've been watching a lot of the forums for awhile now. I'm applying for Fall 2015 for both Accelerated and Traditional. I will have my degree in Public Health soon. Super nervous. I live in Florida currently, but my dad lives in Georgia and my mom recently moved here as well in the Gwinnett county area. I attend USF. My current GPA is 3.44 :( I took my TEAS last month and got a 81% I'm taking it again this month and I hope to score in the upper 80% to 90% range. Not sure about GPA and such for my sciences. The only thing I did bad on was I got a C in A&P 2 lab which sucks :( Got super sick right before a practical and bombed it, you know how that goes...anyways! Super excited. This is my second time applying to a nursing program. I applied for USF's nursing program this past summer but did not get in. My other school's I'm applying to is UCF & USF again. *Fingers crossed*

Hi @andiescandies , when you open up the application, one of the first things it says is that you must be accepted by KSU and have a KSU ID #. Also, you can send your TEAS score from the ATI site. It's $27 per report to send them and it is sent immediately. You can find this in their online store, it's labelled along the lines of TEAS transcript, etc.

Thank you, Alerrya! After taking the teas all day, then trying to apply the same day...I clearly didn't pay attention to some important details ;) I saw the request for KSU number, and skipped right over the 'must be accepted' part. I have now applied to the school...Thanks for the response.

@andiescandies you have to be accepted to KSU before applying to their nursing program. Call the ATI company and have them send your TEAS score to KSU. Great score, by the way!
