Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for Kennesaw State for Spring of 2017. If you have did you apply for Traditional or Accelerated program. And what were your four stats?

7/12 GPA

Overall GPA

Fran told me end of August-1st week of September.

End of August/first of week of Sept. is what I had been told too.. Typically they don't disclosure a specific date beforehand..

Hi everyone,

I just want to make sure how to get a competitive score.

Fran told me that they use Total GPA, Top 5/7 (math and science), Top 7/12, and TEAS equally, which means

25% each.

Do you know anything about it?

Total GPA - 20 points (multiply your GPA by 20 then divide by 4)

Top 5/7 - 30 points (math and science GPA only, multiplied by 30 then divide by 4)

Top 7/12 -20 points (same as total GPA calculation)

TEAS- 20 points - multiply by 20 then divide by 100

This gives you your competitive score

It is actually out of 90 not 100. And according to my meeting with Fran, the points are 7/12 GPA- 20, overall GPA- 20, TEAS- 20, and the 5/7 GPA being the highest at 30. Hope this helps😊 and good luck!

Hey Epicapica, from everything I have been told and seen it is a little different than everything equal.

Overall GPA = GPA x 20 divided x4 MAX SCORE is 20

5/7 = GPA x30 divided x4. MAX SCORE is 30

7/12 = GPA x20 divided x4. MAX SCORE is 20

TEAS = Score x 20 divided x 100. MAX SCORE is 20

total out of 90 points.

Did you apply Traditional or accelerated?

How you got 20-30-20-20 point scale?

The advisors told you about it? If so I don't know why Fran told me the total score would be adding "25% each" of those four....

It is confusing to me but I'm good now.

I applied for both but I have a degree with respiratory therapy, so hopefully get into accelerated one!

Fran is actually the one that told me how they do the 90 point system and I met with her a month ago. I have always been told the math and science GPA is weighted more than the rest. And no problem!í ½í¸Š

What is everyones Stats (competitive scores) and which did you apply for (traditional or accelerated)?

What would be the score of A (class) / B (lab)? 3.5?
