Applied for the Spring 2017 traditional. Do any of yall know if taking nursing classes have any positive effect on acceptance into the program?

I guess I'll post my stats too

GPA: 3.62

TEAS: 81

PreReqs: I have Bs in my science lecture classes and A's in the corresponding labs (I'm currently taking Anatomy II and lab right now and MicroBio in the fall) and A's in my other classes except for Econ (which is a B).

I have also taken 2 Nursing Courses (override; taken at KSU) and have received A's in both of them (Patho and Developmental Pysc)

Good for you for getting Patho in. Where did you get that at, Clayton? As for the Developmental Psyc, that is just a prerequisite so it will help in your best 7/12. And the patho will just get you ahead of the game but I doubt it will factor into the decision. Good Luck, we have about a month and a half I estimate before letters.

I took patho at KSU! and I went to an advising session a few days before the deadline for applications and it has Developmental psyc as a major course class, not a pre req

I met with Fran 2 days ago and she said we should have our acceptance decisions by email at the end of August- early September

Oh goodness that's much sooner than I thought! When I met with her a few days before the app deadlin she said by the end of September. I'm so scared haha. I hope my grades I've gotten thus far for the program helps me 😅

I think it's odd though that developmental psych was moved from prerequisite to major course! Did anyone else catch that on the webpage?

Hi, PLS how do you calculate the 84.35/90 points?
