Kennesaw State Spring 2017

Published

Just wondering if anyone out there has applied for Kennesaw State for Spring of 2017. If you have did you apply for Traditional or Accelerated program. And what were your four stats?

Teas

5/7 GPA

7/12 GPA

Overall GPA

Committee meeting on the 2nd. Emails week after.

So after Labor Day weekend?

Hi Y'all, I applied for the traditional program for spring 2017.

My stats are;

5/7 = 3.80

7/12 = 4.0

Teas = 90

GPA = 3.83

85.62/90.

Fingers crossed. The wait is painful.

According to a inside source, from the powers to be yes. Week after Labor Day. So two weeks

I met with Fran earlier this morning and she also said there would be a meeting next Friday the 2nd to go over the applications and the emails will be sent out that following week. Omg this is so close yet so far!

Did she say anything about how many applicants they have and how many they will choose?

I didn't hear any exact numbers. She has told me in the past for Spring it is usually 80 Traditional and 40 accelerated. But on this website I think I saw that they only took 90 overall last Spring.

Thank you, hewy28!!

This wait is killing me as well. The differences in pre-reqs between GA State and Kennesaw are staggering for me - why in the world does Abnormal Psych have to be 7 years recent?! That's such a random assessment - I took it 8 years ago - I have to spend another grand to take it again? Only 1 more prereq for Kennesaw vs 3 with GA State.

Crossing fingers for us all!!

You mean 90 students total both traditional and accelerated instead 120??

Where did you find the number?

Wait, why the need for pathophysiology? There hasn't been a new prereq added, has there? :nailbiting:

No, you just have the option of taking it early or taking it while you are in the program..

Yes, if you pull up the Kennesaw State 2016 on these boards the end of the discussion says there were only about 90 total. That in no way is an official number however.

So I was thinking unless they send the emails immediately after the meeting on Friday, we probably wont hear from them until Tuesday/Wednesday since Monday is Labor Day... I can't wait until this waiting game is over.
