Kennesaw State Nursing Fall 2018

I am applying for Kennesaw Nursing for the Fall 2018, and saw that there has not been a thread started! I would like to know if anyone has applied to the Fall 2018 Nursing Program @ Kennesaw State University yet? If so, would you mind sharing your GPA and Teas Scores? This is so that I can get an knowledge of what I should be on average of. Also, I take my TEAS tomorrow and prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

Did they say anything about why they are waiting until after spring break this year because the last couple of years they seemed to have decisions out at least a week before

This is crazy. Everyone's decisions this year seems to be super late. I know they have to have some sympathy for us. GSU decisions are delayed too. They are determined to have me stay anxious every year for the rest of my life.

Yeah I applied to GSU as well, and they are definitely taking their time too. I can understand GSU being a little late because their application was much more in depth and they extended the deadline but I feel like with the limited information that KSU has the decisions should have come back by now. But, the waiting continues! Here's to another day (or several, who knows) of anxiousness!

Hi, I believe it is because I took Survey of Chemistry instead of the next sequence. Like I said, both Georgia College and Augusta accepted them. See the quote below:

Nursing has a requirement that you must take a sequenced Chemistry. Your transferred courses awarded you CHEM 1211/1211L from AP credit and your CHEM 1152/1152L came over from GA College. I understand why you enrolled this way because I see GA College gave you credit for CHEM 1151/1151L but when KSU evaluates AP credit I believe they will give credit only for CHEM 1211/1211L.

You have met General Education requirements with this particular sequence, but for Nursing's requirements this won't be accepted. Your options then would be to either take CHEM 1212/1212L or CHEM 1151/1151L to complete the required sequence for Nursing.

So I was fortunate as Georgia College sent out their decisions the end of February and they have a similar process as Kennesaw. Augusta is a rolling decision and received a response within an appropriate time. I can't imagine why it takes Kennesaw so long. I hope your decisions come soon!

With spring break being next week, I'll be really surprised if they actually send out decisions then, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy if they did! The sooner the better!

I'm not sure if it posted, but I received admissions to the Accelerated program. Is there any word on acceptance to the traditional? I applied to both.

Congratulations! I applied for the traditional program, but I've not heard anything back yet, but seeing as you heard back, sounds like they'll start rolling the rest out pretty soon.

I recievied an email today (4/3/18) stating I was waitlisted for the Accelerated program. I also applied for the traditional program but the email didn't mention anything about that.
