Kennesaw Spring 2013 applicants

It seems way early to be posting this, but the application deadline actually isn't too far away. Is anyone else applying to KSU for spring 2013 admission? I've requested to be considered for the traditional and accelerated programs. Took the TEAS this morning, but I'm still finishing this semester's prerequisites, so I don't know what GPA I'll be competing with yet. Would love to connect with anyone else who's applying!

I'm not,but i was surprise to see sunday interviews.

Does anyone know the days for classes/clinicals, and if students get to choose their clinical sites or it's giving to them.

That is strange for them to do Sunday interviews. When I signed up for my interview I do not remmber seeing Sunday Sept. 16th as an option. Did they just add it?

Gosh I am beginning to feel like they are interviewing a lot more candidates than previous semesters. *nervous*

I signed up the first day it was available, and was very surprised they were offering Sunday interviews. I received a confirmation email, and also, on Owl Express, the date/time is confirmed. I'm wondering the same as Desir80's....there appears to be a lot of folks with interviews. It seems that everyone I have talked to has received an interview letter. I don't feel special anymore. LOL!

trixjones- that is exactly how I feel! Everyone that I know that applied to KSU 's nursing program got an interview. It it is strange. I am happy for everyone but on the same hand I feel that everyone that applied got an interview. lol

I wish I knew how many applicants applied for the spring semester and how many of those are getting interviewed.

Fran told me over 700 people applied for spring and Sandi told me that they are interviewing 165 people. Only 120 get in with 40 of those 120 being in the accelerated program.

wow! so they only have 80 spots for the traditional program? Thanks nutrizun for the info! Does anyone know if its true that they are accepting more people for the traditional program this time around? I thought I read that somewhere. Maybe it is just wishful thinking.

I thought more people were going to be accepted this spring too. I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere on this discussion, hopefully its true :) If not it seems like theres going to be several people cut after the interviews.

I had my interview today and it went pretty well. My interviewer was extremely nice and she tried her best to make me feel comfortable! Have answers prepared and try not to be nervous because it isn't that bad once the interview starts. Good luck everyone!!

Thanks Mhuskic...did anyone else have an interview today? Mine is tomorrow at 10 am. Any particular questions we should brush up on? I'm glad to hear you only had to interview with one person. I've read in past threads that some people had to interview with more than one person...that would make me more nervous!
