  1. Maybe we should put our real names on here now, so we will know then! We can facebook stalk each other until then :) I'm Tricia Monette
  2. Jlola, I am. I'm in Chem 1152 right now, with lab and also taking online fitness for living. The only class I will have left after this semester is Econ, I think I will take that in the summer! Is anyone on the board in Gabriel's M/W 3:30 to 4:45 1152? I thought I heard a couple of people in their had interviews...
  3. Rachfog, I'm not sure of my actual gpa, my KSU gpa (based on 7 classes) is a 3.81. From the tons of classes I transferred in, I had about a 3.65? So it's somewhere in the middle! I got a 83.3 on the Teas, 6/7 math and science were A's and 7/12 is a 4.0. I also have some hospital experience under my belt. It's a common misconception that you HAVE to have straight A's/amazing gpa/85 and up on the teas! They want well rounded individuals....do your absolute best, of course, but don't make yourself crazy! Best of luck to you :)
  4. I'm In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Accepted into the traditional program for spring 2013
  5. Maybe you could call and just tell them that everybody you know has gotten their letter, but you have not? Maybe they will tell you over the phone?
  6. Nah, it's still pretty early for mail. Mine doesn't come until around 2:30...right when I have to leave for school!
  7. Racquel, any news on your front? I know you probably had your mom checking at the post office.
  8. I definitely do not think that that is the case! There are lots of people with great stats on here who haven't gotten their letters yet. Every post office is different and some are sllloooowww. I would not discourage yourself because you haven't gotten your letter yet. Like another poster said, her postal worker told her friday's mail would get to her on Wednesday. I still think many of us will get acceptance letters. By numbers alone, more than the people who have said they got letters would have to get in to make the 80%. Keep that in mind.
  9. Has anyone else gotten their mail today, but not received a letter?
  10. For real, all that was in my mailbox was an ad from Sports Cuts or whatever it's called! I hope it's just a forgotten piece from Saturday
  11. Awesome!!! Can't wait to hear the other good news flood in! I gotta go check my mail now!
  12. Alright, I've been pretty zen until now, but come on! I thought today for sure!!! Damn Columbus and his fake ass holiday
  13. I wouldn't get too discouraged...I think they want you to have at least an 80 on your teas test, but with a gpa of 3.46, you will probably want to aim a little higher, 85 range, maybe? They look at about 5 different areas, so if you are lacking in one area, you can make up for it in another. I had an interview 2 weeks ago for the spring 2013 start. I had a 3.65 gpa, 6/7 A's for my math/science classes and an 83.3 teas V score. So, I'm not in yet, but you don't have to have absolutely amazing grades to get an interview. I'm hoping that a good interview pushes me through! Best of luck to you!
  14. There are legal, prescription meds that will alleviate anxiety and to gain an appetite. My brother in law is on both as a Crohn's patient. Really, weed is all that works for you? I find that hard to believe.
  15. Ok, sorry to blow up this board, but I was just checking out the aha website and saw that they offer an online BLS for healthcare providers online course for $22. They said it's about two hours. Not bad and cheaper than the actual class. Maybe good for those who can't get away from work or are on a budget???
