  1. So you have to be accepted to the school and receive and ID before you can apply? Thank you so much for the help!
  2. Thank you so much! And WOW congrats on your teas score that's amazing!
  3. Oh goodness! That is so scary! Why wouldn't they take the TEAS that's so strange..So you will know the essay topic before it's due? Like it isn't something you have to go to the school and do in a classroom or something? Do they only look at your core gpa? And one more thing.. how did you apply? I couldn't figure it out. Oh and have you already done the CNA thing? Thank you SO much for all of your help you are so sweet!
  4. Thank you! I completely agree, that is why it is so frustrating to try and have a back up plan. I wish you the best though!
  5. The school I am currently at a university that also follows those requirements. Pathophysiology is something you need once you're in the program, I didn't know other schools required it beforehand since all the "good" ones don't seem to. But I know how competitive GA state is I would love to be accepted but they seem to demand perfection lol. Thank you for your help!
  6. You're right, but I think they are a little out of my league Thank you for listing them though.
  7. Thank you all so much. I really appreciate the help!
  8. Hey nicky25, would you mind telling me how many As you got in your science classes? And is the Carrolton program more competitive to get into? Thank you SO much for the help!
  9. Hello could anyone who got accepted to west georgia's nursing program last summer please let me know what your top 3 science grades were? Do you have to have 1, 2, or 3 As to be considered. Thank you SO much for the help I really appreciate it.
  10. Does anyone know of an accredited CNA certification program? I have to become certified by June and am going to school full time so I don't have time to drive to another location and go to class everyday. Any help would be much appreciated!
  11. Hello everyone! I am currently VERY irritated with the prerequisites of all the nursing programs I have been looking at. For example, clayton state is completely normal besides requiring pathophysiology (a nursing course), which is the one requirement I don't meet. West Georgia was perfect besides all of a sudden slapping a required CNA certification starting this year.. I really need help finding out if there are any good nursing programs around the Atlanta/Marietta area that don't have random monkey wrenches. I have a 3.7 GPA and an 82 TEAS V score, so I believe that I would be able to be accepted if only I could find a place that didn't have such a random requirement! You have no idea how much I will appreciate any help in this area I can get! God bless!
  12. Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has been through or is currently in West Georgia's nursing program. I heard that over 400 apply and there are 120 spots. If you don't mind, could you please let me know how difficult it is to become accepted? In a week after my grades go in I should have a 3.5-3.7 GPA. In my 5 science classes I have 2 As and 2 Bs and will be taking my chem 2 next semester. I have an 82 on my TEASV, and will be hopefully CNA certified within the next 2-3 months. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help and time!
  13. Hello everyone! I have discovered that if I want to start the University of West Georgia's nursing program in June, I have to be a certified CNA. I have a really heavy course load next semester at Kennesaw State University and was wondering if anyone knew of an easier program to go through. It would be wonderful if I could become certified over the winter break, does anyone know of anywhere near Powder Springs that has a 4/5 week program or a place near kennesaw that has an 8 week or whatever? One more thing! Are there any online programs to become certified? That would be ideal! Thank you SO much for your help and time!
  14. Could someone please tell me where the online application is for west georgia? I have looked everywhere on their website and can't find where to submit my application. Kennesaw State's program took me 10 seconds to apply to, I don't know what to do! Thanks for your help, sorry if this was a silly question
  15. If you don't mind me asking, what GPA and Teas where your accepted with :) and congrats!
