I just finished my first semester of my 2 year program with straight A's!!! Now I'm worried about keeping everything I learned in my head over the month and a half I have off from school. I've heard that second semester in my program is a real beast and I don't want to have to play catch up from the get-go. I'm starting as a nurse assistant at the hospital that runs my program so I'm not super worried about forgetting how to do vitals/daily cares or things of that nature, but my duties as an assistant are very limited and don't involve any of the more advanced skills I learned this semester, such as injections, catheterization, etc. Any tips on the best way to keep what I learned this past semester fresh in my mind?
