Has anyone applied to the Keck Hospital Versant RN Residency Program? Just wanted to start a forum and update each other about the process! If previous applicants have gone through their residency programs before feel free to share your thoughts on the processes and experience!

Good luck everyone!

Congrats dpplbb on the interview! If you don't mind sharing, did your application status change from "in progress" ?

I received a call last night (7pm) that I got an interview with oncology. They asked if I was available this Thursday or next week. I decided to go with next week because I'm not prepared enough for this week.

I am a bit surprised that I got an interview. I messed up on my application, and forgot to attach a lot of the documents and ended up emailing them.

Just checked on the status of my application and it says, "In Progress."

Hope this helps, and don't give up yet!

Has anyone heard back from Neuro?

I applied for neuro and I haven't heard back yet

@lrutanaj was it a screening call too? or just to schedule the interview?

Specializes in Trauma | Surgical ICU.

There were 1,500 applicants for OR and 3,000+ for the inpatient floors. Interview started June 3rd.

Almost all interviews for OR are done. Out of 1,500 applicants, 10 people are called in for an interview and half will be hired.

Inpatient will hire 20 new grads and some units started interviewing. All in all, out of 4500+ who applied only 25 spots are open.

Wow...can u believe there are that many new grads needing work???? Incredible!

@lrutanaj was it a screening call too? or just to schedule the interview?

It was a scheduled interview. My slot is only 30 minutes. I emailed to ask if there were multiple round interviews, and the recruiter replied saying there was just 1. I forgot to ask how many positions were open.

Rejection email received today :/

I got my rejection as well

I just had my interview yesterday. They said they were going to be interviewing until the rest of the month. I am not sure how many slots are open for my unit (hematology/oncology). Also, I'm not sure if the interviews taking place until the end of June will be for other units as well.

Hey lrutanaj, I was just wondering if they asked you more behavioral type questions or clinical type questions?
