KCC ADN Spring 2021

Hi there! Did anyone apply for the KCC Spring ADN program? What are your stats like?

Hello! I just applied for my second time.

Pre-reqs: All A's one B in Microbio

Co-reqs: A's

Exp: 4 year MA experience in a private practice, internal med

TEAS: 84.7%

I applied for the 2020 Fall program with a 78.7% TEAS score and was denied acceptance. I took the test again and thankfully bumped my score up a little.

You've got great stats and experience! You bumped your score up by a lot! What changes did you make to study the TEAS?

My stats are:

Pre-Reqs: All A's except one B lab

Co-Reqs: A's

Exp: NA training plus NA experience at foster care home

TEAS: 84%

Results were sent out Tuesday!

@kmusubi Wow, we have similar stats! Honestly, I’m not a great test taker so I wasn’t sure what to do different. To be honest I think it was the fact that I knew more of what to expect and wasn’t as nervous. Did you get your letter in? Just got mine and I am alternate listed... ?

@Kayhj OMG thank you for sharing!! I went and checked as soon as I saw your reply and it was in my mailbox. I got alternate listed ? Did you get in?

I also got alternate listed, again..?

Pre-reqs: All A's, 1 B in chem

Co-reqs: A's

Exp: 2 year MA experience in a private practice (primary care)

TEAS: 87.3%

I got alternate listed as well!

@Kayhj OMG can’t believe you got alternate listed w/ such a high TEAS score!

Hey,

I am planning on applying for fall and my stats are similar. After being waitlisted, were any of you accepted to the program? Just curious. It seems the program is way more competitive than it was a few years ago. My friend was accepted with a 82% :/

@ellomello
Hi! They announced during orientation that they were going to accept 8-9 more this week and just got the email yesterday, for acceptance into the program!

Ahhhhhh, how exciting. Thank you for replying. That gives me hope LOL. Congratulations on your new journey:)

Who got into the Spring 2021 cohort?

I applied for Spring 2022, when do we find out?

Hey! I applied for Spring 22 too. I was alternate listed last semester, and at orientation there was only 18 of us and only a total of 12 was accepted due to a Professor shortage. On their website it states 18-24 are usually accepted so, it is Very frustrating. I believe some time next month we should receive a letter in the mail. I read on here somewhere a couple semester back that someone received their letter mid October. Good luck!
