Hello everyone this is my first post and I am so nervous. I recently passed my sci 25 class and pretty much pass all pre requisites with a good grade. I also took my TEAS exam and got a proficient score. I also tried contacting the nursing department to see if they can break down what qualifies you to get accepted into nursing clinicals. They said I have to wait three weeks this is torture!!!! Is anyone else going through the same pain and anxiety lol

Hello. Hope all is well just wanted to thank you for all your help I received my letter today and I made it in the program!!! I need to do so much and not sure where to start lol. Where did you get your cpr cert? and I am def renting the books from amazon thanks!!!

Congrats, I didn't get the letter yet but my major was changed to on cunyfirst, I'm so relieved and excited

Hello All, please who knows which of the textbooks for nur 18 do we have to buy, because there are quite a no of textbooks with either recommended or required on cuny first.

Thanks! btw I went to the college today to submit the acceptance letter, there is just too much to do, within a little time, there are phone nos pasted to where u can do the cpr/aed in the nursing office about $65 -$75 dollars, you will also get a letter for background check, I logged in the website for that one and its $100. All of it alongside your physical is due before orientation in Aug 29th.

I'm not sure which of the textbooks we need for nur 18 so I'll wait till orientation or when classes start. Did u have to submit additional documents with the acceptance letter?

yes I also went today to drop off my acceptance letter. The background check is due August 15th CPR and Physical are due the 29th. I can't believe it's actually happening lol

I would get the required textbooks that is only 4 out of the 8 for nur 18 or at least get the fundamentals of nursing book We also have to purchase ATI which is an additional 200$ i think smh this is so expensive plus all the cpr and background check
