Hi I am also taking my Nclex soon and my scores are so so. Im super worried but I have seen people post with much lower scores and pass. They just keep saying to read the rationales. I hope they are right as I have 5 days before my test. I will post if I pass. here are my scores im taking Question Trainer tomorrow.
QT1-6 in this order: 65%,64%,69%,55.3%,60.7%,53.5%
Have you done the Qbank questions, I did most of them im missing about 200. I averaged about 52% but I would say 300 were done while I was in school.
on question trainer 6 I had to google a whole bunch of words that I had never seen before and even like that I scored a 53.5. I had to get up 100 times it as so frustrating. did you do it all in one sitting?
most post I have read said to try and do it either 75 and then take a break and continue in blocks of 50 till you hit the 265.
thanks I so need it! badly! im super anxious. im reviewing QT6 now as we speak
Your question made me think about how I took the exam. I actually took the QT 6 and 7 in one seating. I did go to the bathroom once in a while but i didn't take any breaks. Made me think that maybe I was anxious to finish the exam that's why I didn't read throught the questions how I'm supposed to and didn't really analyze it. I'm reading the rationales and I was like "I could have been right!"
I'm haven't stated the Qbank yet. Still reading the rationales in the QT7. A lot would say that don't freak out on your scores and just read the rationales. I could have been less anxious if my scores were consistently in the 50's or 60's but getting 43? To think that I failed twice already. Makes me nervous
My Qbank score were very similar to yours. Anywhere between 50-65%. I didn't do too many of the Qbank questions, but when I did, I did them in increments of 25, that way I had more time to go through the rationales and look things up. I feel like I remembered more that way then taking a ton of questions. I passed the NCLEX last week with 75 questions.
Good luck! You CAN do it!
That's what happened to me I just wanted to finish already and now while I read them i'm like damn that was obvious. Start doing the QBank questions they helped me with a lot of content. I also take a lot of notes. on all 4 answers that are given to me. Tomorrow i'm doing QT 7 and I plan to do it 75q take a break then in blocks of 50 to see if that helps me more. if it does that is how I plan to do on test day. i'll keep you posted on that score tomorrow.
