kaplan scores are mostly 56%-59%, should i reschedule my nclex date?

I have been doing questions for 7 weeks now, and most of my kaplan scores are 58%. I have had better scores on qbank, but seriously, all qtrainors have been 58, 59, with the exception of one 66%. Im sitting for the exam next week, and im just freakin out i guess. I was wondering if anyone else was in this position, and still passed, or should i reschedule? Thanks... -Tim

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I take my exam on Tuesday and my scores are right around where yours are. I'm in the process of taking my Q7 I have the hardest time concentrating for 265 questions. I too am concerned that I should reschedule. I'm getting 58-65% on my Qbanks. I guess we'll just have to see where it goes. :uhoh21:

I took nckex yesterday, and had around 150 questions i think...I turned the question counter off so i wouldnt psych myself out. I tried the pearson vue trick, and got the good pop up. So, i believe i passed, but i dont have the official results yet.

65 is pretty unrealistic I think. I was told by my teacher if we get anywhere from 55-60 were good to go. I took trainer 7 last night. I got a 57. I seriously missed 10 questions bc I read to fast and missed out on the keyword. So I prolly would have gotten a 58-59.

But its not about the scores. It's about if u understand the rationale. I worked w a girl who got a.50 on trainer 7 and she passed. So just keep studying the rationales and I think u will be fine!

wow this really raised up my spirits....i have a similar experience and only got 50 on question trainer 7 because i was hurrying because my kaplan will expire in a couple of hours....but now they said they extended it because they made a mistake on the dead line....the only downside now is i dont have any means of testing my skills because i finished all the questions....im still trying to find an alternative my exam is on the 1st week of march HELP!!!!!

Did you try the Qbank sample questions? If so I would recommend going and getting the Kaplan 2010-2011 book they have at the book store, (not the course book) they have a test in book and they have a cd-rom that has a practice test too. I hope this helps.:rolleyes:

hmmmm if only someone suggested that earlier hehehe....i went to the bookstore and found the kaplan book but thinking i have one i ignored it and took the mosby's review cards examination.....has anyone got good insights for this tool?

The way Kaplan is set up, is exactly like nclex. and nclex sucks butt.
