Kaplan Readiness Test and NCLEX RN

Published

Anyone heard of someone failing the NCLEX RN after doing well on the Kaplan Readiness test? I just took it and got a 73.9% on the readiness exam but am still freaking out. I've seen those passing percentage charts but I was hoping for real life experiences. I took the HESI exit and got a 928 but that was awhile ago. I graduated at the end of August with a 3.9 GPA and have been studying off and on for the past few weeks and amped it up the last two weeks. I take the NCLEX this week!

You'll be fine. Relax. With your GPA and various scoring I doubt you would fail. Remember it's a MINIMUM competency exam.

I studied for about a week and a half, 1-2 hrs a day before the exam. Honestly... it was so easy I don't know why I studied. Everything was basic med-surg questions.

I knew you would ;)

Wasn't it easier than you expected??

To tell you the truth I will say don't focus on the percentages. I took my readiness test my first try and got a 60s% and I failed the exam. It's just a matter of how you study and prepare for it. Good luck!!
