Kaplan NET test math section?

Published

Hey guys im taking the kaplan NET test monday and i was wondering what was mostly on your test in the math section. im really nervous because this is the only date i have to take the test before my school nursing program interview and we cant use scrap paper for the math section. im not the best at math so any advice on what i should study for in the math section would be great. Thanks so much in advance to whatever help you can offer me!

Do you have the NET Study Guide? If yes, and you can pass that you will pass this test. I haven't heard of no scrap paper being used. I took the NLN which is a much harder entrance exam and we were allowed to use paper. It seems odd you wouldn't be allowed to do the same. The NET math section really isn't bad at all. Also, go to the Nursing Student Forum on this site. They will be able to help even more.

thank you! ya i know its really odd i have asked many of people at my school such as teachers and the people who give the test. no scratch paper or calculators. we can use to calculator they give us though on the computer but its basically just adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing. everything else is "out of order" because they took it off. the whole no scratch paper really gets me though because i need to see what im doing.
