Kaplan exam and applications

Hello all! I am new to this board so please be patient with me. Today I took my Kaplan nursing school entrance exam for the University of Southern Mississippi. I am not sure what a good Kaplan score is and I am TERRIFIED that I will not get accepted into the Fall 2015 BSN nursing program. I have been diligent in my studies since I started classes in Fall 2013. I've made the president's list and deans list twice. My GPA is a 3.59 and I've only made one C in my entire academic career (in 2009). My Kaplan score is an 82. Is this a good score? My school requires a minimal ACT score of 21 (mine is a 24), C or better in all classes, Kaplan exam, and an entrance essay. I'm am so scared that all of my hard work will not pay off and I will have to wait an entire semester before retaking the Kaplan and restarting the entrance process. I've been stressing about this since my Christmas break and I don't know how to calm myself or reassure myself that I will be okay. :(

Hi there! Are you applying for the Hattiesburg campus or the Gulf Park Campus? I don't know anyone at the Gulf Park campus who scored higher than me and I've asked around. I know they tend to prefer current students as opposed to outside students at the Gulf Park campus. I know they look at your overall score and then go into the break downs when it's neck and neck. The critical thinking portion is very important as well. I'm turning in my application on Monday and I'm nervous as all get out. I just want to know right then if I got it!

Hey! I am applying to gulf park. Thats comforting about the scores I still feel like I did so bad with an 80. That must feel good you got your application turned in. I just finished mine up but I am trying to decide if I should mail it or hand carry it in. I have this irrational fear it will get lost in the mail haha. What did you do?

I've wanted to do the same thing, but thought they might not like it since the app says to mail in. So they didn't mind?

I sent mine in today by mail. Suspose to be there on Monday. I thought sending it finally would relief some stress but it's just made me more stressed out! How are you doing?

I just took the kaplan and made a 71 overall. I made an 86 on reading, 86 on math, a 71 in writing... BUT THEN A 35 on science. I am FREAKING out. I am applying to USM nursing school. do i have a chance of getting in??
