Kaplan or dr. Martin? I am confused.

hello everybody, i am a graduating nursing student this may '09 and i am planning now for the nclex board. however, i am confused which one to go because of course i want the best. everyone has their own marketing way but i don't need a sales person point of view but somewhat i need someone who can can truly direct me into a right path that can guide me in passing the board by july. i am choosing between kaplan and dr. martin review. or you may suggest other review centers too. can anyone please help me share your opinions, views, experiences personal or from friends, that can somewhat help me to be enlightened because i knew at the end of the day it is still me who will decide. thank you very much and i truly appreciate all of your honesty. take good care. :bugeyes:

I believe Kaplan is the best. Most of the students here who use Kaplan pass the NCLEX. However, there are students who use other books and pass as well.

I used Kaplan, not just the book but did went to their review class, I didn't pass, is it really with the class or is it the way a person study?

I believe it is the way you study. You have to reach a certain level of critical thinking to be successful. I started to do NCLEX questions the minute I set foot in nursing college and now I am doing great. I just do not know why people study and fail the board. Sometimes I think is the type of questions it ask or the specilaized area it focuses on with some students. We as nursing students will not know everything and so we have to try to learn how to chose the correct answers to these questions.
