Kaiser Socal New Grad Residency 2023

Nurses Residency

Updated:   Published

Starting a thread for those of us who applied for the March 2023 cohort this January. Anyone else applied? If so, which location? I received the snapshot screening questionnaire this week. They say we will hear from them early next week. Good luck to us! Can't wait to hear from y'all ?

Hi, have you heard anything from them yet? It's been a week since my interview so kinda wondering why it's taking so long haha

Hi! I haven't heard back from anyone since last week either. Hopefully we hear back by Friday if not early next week. I'm internal candidate, so I know sometimes Kaiser can take some time with onboarding ?

Hello there!

for those who got in, is there any tips for the interview? Or what questions did they ask? Any help would be appreciated!

im not in the SoCal region and have an interview for NorCal and came to this thread for advice. I read some got in person interviews for SoCal. All the ones here in NorCal are over "Teams" and we are presenting a PowerPoint. It's interesting how the interviews are different.

Congratulations to everyone! Those without an interview there are many other New Grad Programs that are up! UC, Dignity, and Sutter. Good luck and keep it going! This is just practice, try again!

Hello, Did you end up hearing back from there? I live walking distance from Kaiser Woodland Hills, so it would be my top choice. What unit btw?

I live far from KP woodland hills so I was hesitant to accept the offer but no regrets so far! The new grad residency program is well organized and the educators are extremely helpful. I work in the telemetry unit and the staff are super nice too. You will be asked which unit (med surg vs tele) and shift (day/night/full time/part time) you want during the interview. I got what I wanted! Good luck!

Hi all,

I am hoping someone here can help me. I am trying to apply for the current application window for Kaiser new grad externals. Does anyone know if RN licensure is required at time of application or is it by start/hire date? Thank you!

Honestly, I just applied because there wasn't really information on their website (Regional New Grad RN Transition to Practice Program). I can't even see the New grad positions posted on their website anymore? or is that just me?

Wild if they only had a three day window for applicants to apply.

They had it open a week for internal candidates and 1 day for external candidates

Has anyone else received the candidate snapshot email from the Talent Acquisition team? I applied to multiple locations so I received multiple snapshot emails.

I'm a bit confused by the phrasing in their email: "or have already completed a candidate snapshot with us, please respond to the email below with that information."

I'm not sure if they just want us to confirm that we've already completed the snapshot form or if we need to provide them with the information we included in the form. Can anyone shed some light on this?

To be on the safe side, I completed the snapshot form for each email received (individually). Each submission was exactly the same. I also added in the notes/comment section about my submission to multiple locations. ?

Did anyone's status change yet?
