Kaiser Socal New Grad Residency 2023

Nurses Residency

Updated:   Published

Starting a thread for those of us who applied for the March 2023 cohort this January. Anyone else applied? If so, which location? I received the snapshot screening questionnaire this week. They say we will hear from them early next week. Good luck to us! Can't wait to hear from y'all ?

Awesome! I was told since its a "transfer" that a transfer coordinator would be reaching out this week. That's the last I heard, hope that helps.  Congrats! are you at SDMC or ZION?

Hi! I'm a new grad and am trying to look for Kaiser's new grad program in San Diego and I can't find any info online. How did you apply for Kaiser SDMC?

Hey yall! Congrats on starting your new positions! I start with them in about a week and a half, how are you enjoying working there? Specifically, I'll be in San Diego, but what is the first week scheduling like? Have you had to work your full shifts on nights/weekends yet? Y'all, I'm so nervous LOL so any tips would be awesome! ?

Hi! Congrats on getting into the program. Your educator will send you an email with the schedule within the next week. First week is all orientations and things like that. Depending on your educator, the second week you'll be on the floor with your preceptor or they'll have you just do the modules all week. You'll be following your preceptors schedule so you work when they work. It's a great program, you're gonna learn a lot. Might seem overwhelming at first, but everyone is super helpful and nice at both the SDMC and Zion location. Good luck!
