Kaiser SoCal Fall 2025

Published

Hello,

I'm starting this thread since I was unable to apply to the Summer cohort. Congrats to all of those that got offers extended!
I haven't heard of an official Fall Winter cohort. I have emailed Brandy to see if there will be one. I will post/update here as soon as I get replies.

I'm an internal candidate graduating this month. My interest is Oncology. Good luck to everyone!

I am an internal candidate and still have not been contacted for an interview.

I am also internal & still nothing. I think we will probably be hearing something next week or week before interviews start. Good luck everyone!

Interview went well. It was the longest interview I've ever had in my life. I was there for a little bit over an hour. I am feeling a but discourage because they only have one opening. The manager did tell me he was interviewing 6 of us. And that everyone was internal and coming recommended by their unit, so pretty much he said the competition is furious. He said this is the first time they get approved for the new grad program. So whoever gets it will be the first in DOU to get a new grad position.
It was a panel interview with 4 people interviewing me. 2 charge nurses, manager and I think the DA. They were all super sweet and you can tell that they love their unit and their leadership. Lots of behavioral type of questions, and then they asked me to get a pen and paper and gave me a clinical scenario type of question and asked what my priority will be and what type of imaging I anticipate to be ordered.
I hope this helps. Honestly I am so sad because so many applicants and not enough positions. But again, this was just for the hospital I am based at. Good luck everyone!

Do you know if they interviewed internals recently as well for medsurg/tele ?

Also, does the 1 spot count for just the internals meaning they have more spots for externals or is it just 1 spot in general all together on DOU? Im assuming the latter

So I wanted to apply for the cohort that was supposed to begin in August 2025 but the application/information for the application cycle seemed to just disappear? Was anyone able to actually apply for that cohort? I feel like I keep checking and nothing shows up

It was gone within a few minutes after midnight on June 18th.
