Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Spring March 2025

Updated:   Published

Hello All,

I wanted to create a new thread for Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Spring March 2025 application cycle. Anyone know if there is any EKG and ACLS online class for RN?

Is this before or after interviews? I received confirmation that my application was received but I haven't gotten anything from them otherwise.

Before. It was sent either right after applications or on the 8th and it said the due date was today at 12. Check all of your junk and see if it still works. 🤞

The career snapshot was sent on November 8th, before interviews! You might want to check your spam . It's due today

Ah, thank you. Doesn't seem like I got it. Did you have KP experience?

I did almost all of my clinical rotations there except for my critical care / preceptorship, but I have no health care work experience!

Good luck! Do you happen to know when they would be accepting applications for the next cohort? I just reviewed my application and noticed a glaring error that probably disqualified me.

Thank you so much for this! I'm currently kicking myself because of this huge error on my part. I appreciate your kindness and am wishing you the best in your journey!

If you don't mind me asking what was the huge error that you thought may have disqualified you?

Can anyone help me settle a debate? I completed the career snapshot on the 8th before I got my license because I felt pressured to submit it ASAP. I said no I do do not have an active license yet because I was scared of stating anything inaccurate. Then of course my license came through on the 12th. My girlfriend believes that they essentially throw out applications that do not yet have an active license. Does anyone know if you can get past the career snapshot if you submit it before having a license?

The details on the page said that the latest date to obtain your license is I believe two weeks before the cohort start date so that shouldn't be an issue.  An issue would be if they saw there was no way for you to graduate from your program and get your license before that deadline.

Thank you for your response UnicornNurse. I certainly hope it won't be a problem. Nevertheless some people have said that they give preference to those who are already licensed at time of applying. Anyone know someone who actually got in prior to licensure?
