Hello All,

I wanted to create a new thread for Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Spring March 2025 application cycle. Anyone know if there is any EKG and ACLS online class for RN?

I'm sorry to hear about the rejection emails but you all will find what is meant for you. Does anyone know whether they will be requiring a presentation for those who received interviews?

No presentation. They changed it up this cohort. It's going to be a standard interview with 6 per interview. It'll include clinical and behavioral questions.
Interviews is 2 hours long.

Rejected. Worked in Kaiser and LPN experience. Has anyone been accepted as a LPN?

I'm sorry to hear that 😞 I've heard that for some reason KP doesn't invite their employees for interviews and that was very surprising to me because I have always heard they prefer internal candidates.

I worked for Kaiser for 6 years. Not expecting any special circumstances but it's shocking all these prior employees also were rejected.

Thank you for clarifying!

Where did you hear this from? I thought they prefer internal employees.

I think what happened is there was a huge amount of internals that applied and they had to select which ones were better fit. I know they prefer internals but I feel they also had to limit it to interview externals as well. I also think it had a lot to do with the location of selection. I chose a whole region compared to one specific hospital.

This makes a lot of sense. I didn't get the screening survey this time but it's good to know that you're able to choose a region instead of just one hospital since there are a handful local to me.
