Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Cohort 9 July 2024

Hi guys! Just wanted to make this for those who are applying to Cohort 9 for Kaiser New Grad Residency! 

Hey guys! Congrats on your interviews. I havn't received anything yet ? 

I wanted to ask... does it say if your interviewing for your first choice or second choice? Also what time and what email are they sending out invites? I will continue to keep an eye out!

I assume if you don't get an interview you'll be emailed as well, so don't lose hope, you might still get an invite! Yes, my invite was for my first choice. I was hoping both choices would still be open but it's specifically for my first choice only.

Make sure you submitted your Letter of Rec, BLS, ACLS, RN License (if you have it) Resume, and Cover Letter (Highly Recommended) onto the job application. 

They value you having have done clinical rotations /externships/capstone at their facilities. As for the EKG certification, you don't need to have it to apply to KP, but you do need to have it before your start date if you get hired. 

In terms of choosing locations, for NorCal for the most part. I would suggest choosing a group of hospitals instead of just a single one to improve your chances of landing an interview.

I did not submit a nursing portfolio, because I don't know how to even do a nursing portfolio but you can Google search how to combine one together.

I mean like record a voice over for the PPT or make a video

It's a live interview, so you can't pre-record the interview ppt sadly, but you can record yourself doing the interview before you interview and see what parts you can focus on and stuff.

Hi there! thank you for all the insight. Would you happen to know if all Kaiser's are 8 or 12 hr shift? Also, would you mind sharing your ppt with me.
