I got an interview for greater sf for this cohort but got rejected last cohort! I have never done any clinicals or volunteering/working at kaiser but have over 2 years of in-home healthcare experience. Graduated from sac state, currently have my RN license and have BLS, ACLS, PALS and the ekg course. I'm assuming maybeee I got an interview this time instead of last time b/c I only had my ATT last time.. I feel like that's a big deciding factor! Keep applying everywhere and keep getting experience and volunteering and eventually we will all end up with jobs whereever we're meant to end up! ❤️ Good luck 🙂

To be honest, this is my 2nd time applying. Last time, I got my ATT, took it, and passed on the second  day after snapshot deadline. Then, I sent them email to update and they congrats me right away...but no interview... The only difference was that I got my license on hand this time. Good luck to everyone!

Thank you for your kind words. So you did home health as a new grad?

I have my RN license already, 3.8 nursing GPA, have my: PALS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS, PHN, STABLE provider, BLS, CNA license, and Phlebotomy license... no ekg course, did an internship for phlebotomy at kaiser a couple years ago and I have phlebotomy and CNA experience, and a student nurse externship at UC Davis. Also am bilingual...

Ohhh something different that I filled the form this time... When they asked about intership/externship, which they didn't specify NURSING intership, I also said that I HAD externship with them... which was like 10 years ago in pharm tech program LOL

Prior to and during nursing school I worked in-home as caregiver and I also did lots of volunteering in the community!

I received an invitation this afternoon as well. It seems they are not just checking for an RN license this time and they are evaluating the entire profile—experience, preceptorship, and certifications. Although I don't yet have my RN license (I've scheduled the exam and provided proof to show I'm not lying LOL), I have BLS, ACLS, and took basic EKG course. I've put a lot of effort into my cover letter though and highlighted a lot of my experience, have three recommendation letters from nurse managers ( uploaded everything into one file during application period). During the pandemic, I worked closely with management on various projects, including in the ED. I graduated with a BSN, a GPA of 3.7, and have over seven years of experience as an LVN at Kaiser. I also know another applicant that got invite but is taking her exam next week and she had everything else, non-Kaiser employee, and did clinicals with some  volunteer work at Kaiser. Also I think any involvement and/or experience in leadership plays a big role.

I'm a little nervous. I am a KP employee, but I haven't received any type of email yet. No rejection, but no acceptance/interview either.
I'm happy my application is still in the running so far, but with everyone getting their notifications hours ago, it causes some concern for me. Fingers crossed!

Good luck to everyone who received their interview! You guys are going to do great and then some 💕

you better email them see if they receive your snapshot... that happened before

On your guys' resume update, did you include mostly clinical rotations as experience or work experience too? I don't want my resume longer than 2 pages.
