Kaiser New Grad Aug 2017 (Los Angeles)

Wanted to create a forum for those who applied to Kaiser in Los Angeles for their Per Diem New Grad Position starting in August. Has anyone heard back?

Congrats on your interview! Out of curiosity, is this interview for the position that got posted on 7/10? I applied that day and submitted my pre-screening questionnaire but haven't heard anything. Just trying to get a feel for if they've just started contacting people for interviews or if I should assume I'm out of the running already ....

Thank you! Yes for the 7/10 posting. I got a call from the guy we sent the pre-screening questionnaire to at the start of this week, and offered to come in to interview next week. After the phone call, you get an invite email. Sorry, I'm not quite sure when they first started calling people in for interviews or if my interview group date is the first one? I recognize your username from the other discussion thread, hopefully you get a call back soon too!

Hi everyone! If you are starting on August 21, can anyone give me any details about it? I am supposed to start August 21 as well and the only info I was given was to report to possibly LAMC to begin med-surg didactic classes. HR has told me that someone from region should email/call about the rest of the details. Not sure if I would receive that info in time since it's less than one week away. Thanks

Hi guys,

If you don't mind me asking, how did you find out about this new grad program in SoCal? What was it posted under? I have found some per diem postings on their website but they say they want 1 year experience. I've been searching on their website and I haven't found anything pertaining to a new grad program. All I was able to find was a new grad program for Kaiser Permanente but in Northern CA.

How did you get information about the location on Sunset? I did clinicals there and would love to work there!
