Kaiser Los Angeles New Grad Training Telemetry

Is anyone attending the group interview on July 3 at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center? The interview is for the Telemetry unit, and I was invited yesterday. The recruiter told me it will be a group interview, and if selected, followed by a one-on-one interview. They are picking 20 new grad RN candidates for the position. The invite says the interview is 5 HOURS long! how is this possible? In past year's threads Kaiser did a group interview and one-on-one back to back on the same day and if your name wasn't selected to go on after the group, you were asked to leave. Does anyone else know about how the process works? I hope it is not as brutal as it sounds...

I was also invited and Im attending the July 3rd group interview. I am nervous. I have never attended a group interview. Also I am a bit confused because the listing says its per diem. Do you guys know anything else about that?

I think it's per diem particularly so they don't have to give us benefits, and so they can hire more at a time. Oh well...

I'm going as well. Have been wondering about the process too... I also read the old threads and it sounds pretty intimidating. I guess we will see. Anyone have any idea about the start date for the program or anything more specific than the fact that it's per-diem, and nights? I emailed the recruiter my questions but haven't heard back. I'm hoping that they will lay out all the details on Wednesday..

I interviewed for this position yesterday. It was a group interview and they told us they would call us on Monday if we were selected. Only 5 interviewed and we all work for Kaiser already.
