why is it that people are more interested in what you are doing, or how many patients you have on your schedule than they are in their own????? i would think they could accomplish more if they "minded their own business instead of everyone else"................so irritating!!!

Maybe it's just small talk?
calliotter, i wish it was only small talk, but they just carry on if they have one more visit than someone else,,,just makes no sense to me, all the complaining accomplishes nothing except wasted time.

You are absolutely right. Happens at my agency all the time. I have learned to not discuss my schedule unless directly asked, even then I am leary about answering, sometimes nurses will look at the master schedule to see what everyone else is doing. I trained a nurse a few months ago and she asked what's one thing I should do in the office? and I said "mind your own business", then explained why and she thanked me for the heads up, so she's not a nosy pain in the *ss.
