After studying for a few weeks and taking the online practice exam, I went into the classroom feeling nervous but somewhat confident. That lasted all of a minute, and then the test began! I took mine on a computer, and everything that people told me about the science was true (at least, it was for me). I talked to a few people after class and we compared questions, and I think that my exam was a bit more difficult, but still completely random nonetheless. I had a few questions on anatomy, several of chemistry, and a few that I have apparently decided to block from my mind completely. I scored a 60 in science, but scored 90's in the other categories, for a grand total of 80. This is the first time that my school is using the TEAS, so I'm interested to see what the rest of the scores are. The average HESI score was 91, and I've heard that many people score around 10 points lower on the TEAS. With that being said, I hope that I'm still as competitive as I originally thought that I was. The TEAS counts for 25% of the criteria for admission; our science/math courses count for 50% and the remaining 25% is for the remaining pre-reqs. All I can say is that I'm glad I've at least taken it and now I have to wait until October to find out if I've been accepted.

I just took my TEAS V this past Saturday.
My adjusted individual score was 79.3% with an academic preparedness level of Advanced.
It says the....
national mean is 64.3%
Program mean is 64.9%
National Percentile Rank : 87
Program percentile rank: 88
I am an LPN at an Emergency Department at a suburban area hospital. Two of my LPN co-workers applied to the local community college's LPN - RN bridge. One LPN had a 65.5% and another had 70%. One was accepted b/c of her awesome GPA, and the other was waitlisted, had all B's and C's, but got in after several ppl declined.
My personal feelings is with my better than average GPA and my 79%, I, like my LPN co-workers will be accepted to the bridge program.
For those trying to go str8 into the ADN program from an unlicensed perspective, the requirements may be more competitive
