just finished my board exam and i am freaking out!!! :imbar
Hi. My name is Trisha and I am new to this forum. I started out as a CNA for 2 years and I have spent the last 7 years as a LVN. I just graduated this past May with an ADN. My NCLEX-RN was yesterday. See, I have waited a long time for this. I dreamed about it for as long as I can remember. However, I have this feeling that I failed... I went up to 150 questions and they all seemed so difficult to answer. I wish California would participate in that Quick Results program where you can obtain unofficial results for a small fee...
But for now...I sit and worry...My family is being very supportive and optimistic but they don't understand the nervous breakdown I'm having...

I moved your thread to the NCLEX Forum. I think you will get more responses here.

Hi Trisha, I just took my boards Weds. for Oregon which does participate in the quick result program. I found out today that I passed my boards after having 145 questions. My questions were from a variety of areas with several pharm questions and one math question, but no new format questions. Another one in my group had the full amount of questions with 265 and she also found out today she passed. Don't base it on the amount of questions you had. I know you passed and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'll be waiting to hear how you did. Take care of yourself in the meantime. :)

Hey Sha,
I don't know what the BRN is up to here in California, but there are people who took the NCLEX the first few days of July that I know of who already know that they are RN's, while a select few of us (myself included) have had to wait longer and I fall in to the group that took the NCLEX towards the end of June. I was told by the lady I spoke with at the BRN last Friday that it all depends on the caseload of the individual who has your file. So, some people will know after a week, others after two weeks, and others longer. There's no set time for when you could receive your results, which is more the reason why we should be able to at least know the results of our NCLEX exam through the testing service after 2 days. I know that would give me peace of mind right now. I could care less about when my license comes in the mail. I've been waiting 3 weeks now. BRN will have another phone call from me tomorrow. They couldn't tell me for sure last week if the hold up was my transcripts and said someone would get back to me in 5 business days. Hmmm...think their 5 business days is up... :angryfire I think I more than deserve to know the results of my NCLEX BY PHONE after this wait. Will I get my wish? No...one can only hope...
