Hey guys,

I'm just starting to plan a trip out to Oz and could do with some pointers as dont really know where to start!!

Planning on working and backpacking, anyone know any agencies that i could travel nurse with?!

Any advice at all, from where to go first and where to stay, visas, registration, I pretty much starting from scratch!

Worked/lived in South Australia for 2.5 years in the 1990's. Loved it. You will love Aussie and Australians. Did not want to go back to bad old blighty!!!!

Everywhere in Australia is fantastic. I worked for an agency in Adelaide called Medicare (I think thats what it was called). Then I got a post at a hospital. It took about 5 months for me to sort out my registration, had to get transcripts from the UKCC. Do not know about visas etc as I was a forces wife over in Oz on a special visa. I think in jobs like nursing where there are vacancies, they are a bit more lenient with you working. Sure some of the Aussie lassies will set you straight.:welcome:
