Just started classes on Tuesday!

It has been awhile since I last posted. It took a very long time for me to get over the fact that I got a bachelor's, master's and part of my doctorate before realizign that it was not what I wanted much less swallowing the fact that I spent all of that money!

ANyway, I started my first chemistry class on Tuesday night since they would not count my 3 chemistry classes that I took in 1990, 1991 and 1992.

My first impression was somewhat awkward. Maybe some of you can help me. I was the only male in the entire class of over 30! This is a first for me. I felt like I had no clothes on and that I was being stared at constantly. So, does it get any easier?

Yes it gets easier.... You'll fit right in, get to know your classmates (30 is not too bad!) and find your groove. Best of luck!

That can be tough...I've been in your shoes before...just lay low and don't talk about all your degrees all the time--that can alienate classmates and frustrate instructors. I'm sure you'll do great!

You are the only male in a chemistry class? That seems odd to me...now nursing class I could understand.
