Just about to start the program with Eng II

Hi there,

I'm going to start off my rn to bsn @ UTA by taking eng II from Jan19. I'm told that I ve to start taking class before they can evaluate my degree map and will be within 5 weeks of my eng II class. I missed the date for Nursing Prof class last week.

The question I have is, do you need both eng I and II for the program? I have only eng I and just wondering if engII is safe class for me since I won't have my transcripts evaluated until within 5 weeks! and if someone has taken it before, which teacher do you guys recommend?

TIA,

Ayesha

Yes, you need English II for the program. It wasn't hard. You will be fine!

Hi RunHeatherRun,

I was just reading your older posts regarding your classes AT UTA-

Thanks for awesome infos on different classes,

I had a quick q for you, What classes are considered "safe" classes to take before the transcripts are evaluated? (takes longer time than I thought).. Is Texax gov or Pol "safe" classes ?

Tx gov for sure, you will need that to graduate. If you haven't taken a literature class you can do British lit or American lit. If you haven't taken a History class (for example, History 1) or the Federal Gov class yet, those are also safe. Same with Technical Writing. Those are all requirements for the BSN degree that require no prereqs (pretty sure).
