I know I applied at like 6 places within the past two years, LTC facilities. I received two interviews and never got a call back. It is really hard to tell what they are looking for sometimes. But if you are paying for the class you have a better chance of being accepted. I wish you luck, just don't give up.
what are ltc facilites? free education? after applying how long was it until you got your interveiw? should i call them in a few days if they haven't already called me of is that too much?

are you paying for your classes? Or are you taking them through a nursing home facility that will cover expenses for you, in return for you as one of their employees? because if your paying most likely you will get accepted... Here, from what I understand is, all you have to do is register before the classes fill! Thats why I chose to pay for my classes on my own, because I didnt want to worry about if I will be accepted or not. Good luck to you though!!!
LTC is long term care facilities. I enrolled at a local technical school. The first 12 people who registered and paid got in the class. I got there two hours early. By the time it opened at 7:30 4 of the 12 positions were filled. We do our clinicals at a local nursing home. The LTC facilities I applied to were free but I was never chosen for some odd reason.
I wish you the best of luck!
