Less than 2 weeks left and I am getting nervous already. I have finished all of the Q-trainers except for 6 and 7. Will save those for a later date. I also have saved the readiness test for the very end as well.
I am currently doing Q-Bank and have finished 20% averaging a 59%...the question in the Q-Bank are no joke. Super challenging but I "feel" I am learning test strategy now... hoping the next few weeks go by quickly and studying is efficient.
Here are my scores so far...
DX: 58
QT1: 61.33
QT2: 60
QT3: 60
QT4: 67.33
QT5: 68

I left one of my qbanks on after 1 question and forgot to suspend test as I had to the store real quick to grab an item for my wife. And it marked my score as 49 unanswered and 1 correct. Not sure if that got added into the mix but it really dropped my score.
Yesterday was a bad bad day on Q-bank. I took 2 tests I got a 54% and then a 48% I was super distracted on the first one, no idea what happened on the next one....super brain fart I assume I dunno. I am getting more and more worried now. Test in 6 days!

It's been a good long while since I have been on AN. It feels good to be back.
I graduated last month after 2.5 years of hard work it finally paid off to walk across the stage and receive my degree as a RN graduate!
Today I got my ATT and my stomach was in my throat. It's time to prepare for the NCLEX-RN and to pass it on the first try!
I did a two step program got my LPN first and then RN but went on straight thru the program. I didn't study hardly at all for my LPN boards and passed on the first try.
I scheduled my exam for Oct. 31st...yes, Halloween. I will be preparing for it until a couple days before the exam to just relax and mellow out. Already scheduled a therapeutic relaxation massage for the day before the exam. :)
I have been casually doing/taking Kaplan NCLEX-RN on demand and have been doing a smidge above average for the diagnostic and for q-trainer 1. I plan on stepping up my question amounts to about 150 per day and to review EACH correct and incorrect rationale to get a good grasp of test strategy.
I will also be hammering down my lab values, ABGs etc. and nursing skills by doing online games and youtube videos.
Is there anything else I should do? I feel a ton of content review is behind me now. That's what nursing school was for. I will review major topics but not look at the nitty gritty and nit pick.
Wish me luck!
