Niagara County Community College in Sanborn NY

&& thank u!

Yay!

You're gonna rock 'em, girl!

I graduated from NCCC in 5/08. Passed my boards on the 1st attempt and have now being working as an RN for a year. My suggestion for being successful at NCCC is to study EVERYDAY. Review the lecture notes when they are still fresh in your mind. I felt 3rd semester was the hardest but everyone has a different opinon. Good luck it is a tough school but the clinic experience from NCCC is the best!

Been there done that program and would not recamend NCCC nursing program. Don't be fooled by your exceptence into the program, THEY TAKE JUST ABOUT ANYONE. Many other nursing schools cap incoming freshmen at like 60, 80, 100 students but NCCC will take in as many as 350 freshmen....THAT'S CRAZY! There has been some recent changes to the program as far as faculty, so there may be improvement, but I highly doubt it! Honestly, you should look into another program such as Trocair, I hear good things about it! I hope you have all your electives done like A&P and so on if you plan to attend NCCC cause if not it will be impossible to do it all in 2 years, seriously! Take it from me since I just graduated from NCCC nursing program, it's dang near torture there. If you have a job, foregt about working in nursing 3 &4, won't happen.....you will most likely fail. Any kids...... forget them too, give em a kiss and say see ye in 2 years! This program is not family and job friendly. I won't mention names cause I'm quite sure you will figure this out for yourself, as far as the faculty there....WOW, idk.... there are some good ones and there are some doozies for sure! There is on that thinks she created medicine and will lecture on important but rather more **** on a RN level, she tends to get carried away at a much higher level with little to no emphasis on the basic fundamentals. Yeah, you will know once you meet her and there is no avoiding her! Nursing 1&2 not that hard, but watch out when it comes to 3&4....its a whole new ball game then. I probly scared ya a little but I'm being honest. Good Luck!
