Just got my job offer letter!

I have been looking for a job for almost a year since I got my Rn license. I interviewd with the manager last week and today I recieved the job offer letter for the position. Im so happy right now.

For new grads just keep applying and dont lose hope.

Specializes in Med/Surg, DSU, Ortho, Onc, Psych.

Can u post on here any tips to help other new grads find a position? ie: what interview questions did u get asked, how did you apply (in person) etc?

Perhaps your info can help other nurses.

The Panel interview had 6 D.O.N"s they asked the following:

How do you see leadership in the role Of a RN

How do you handle stress?

How do you orangize your patients care.

What type of patients have you taken care of?

What makes you unquine from everyone else?

The dredged questions WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A NURSE?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Tell me something about you that you feel gives you an advantage over other new grads?
