Just got accepted to Mesa CC for Jan 2010

Congrats on getting in. It is always exciting to get accepted :). I couldn't wait to get my packet in the mail for this October 2009 cohort and it took like 2-3 weeks and I was disappointed when that came because it didn't have anything in it that I already didn't have from online LOL. The biggest day is orientation when you find out the most info. Good Luck

Thank you. That is good to know. Do we find out schedule options at the orientation? My biggest concern is finding daycare for my kids. What was your first block like? Was the schedule pretty brutal... any evening or weekend stuff?

I haven't started yet that will be tomorrow which is my orientation. They are suppose to give us our "real schedules then". I know that we all were hoping that the schedules would come in the welcome packet but it didn't and we were disappointed because some of us have kids and need to know LOL but they said we would have to wait until orientation which is only a few days before classes start so that is kind of not fare. Oh well every school is different so maybe they are more organized at Mesa

Congrats on getting in kasey! I am in block 1 at MCC right now and I love it! I actually had Mesa as my only choice because i had heard so many good things about the program. It's a TON of reading and information so be prepared to study ALL the time. Our schedule is lecture mon-tue 9am-11:50am and an extra hour if you take the math and review courses. Wed and thurs we go from 7:30am-3pm. We start clinicals next week and we have 3 different clinical groups all with different times. One group is wed-thurs 6:30-2pm, one is wed-thurs 2-9:30pm and then other is wed-fri 6:30-2pm. The clinicals change every semester though, but I'm pretty sure the lecture times will be the same for you. The professors are wonderful you will love them!
