My class has also been told that as well that Saunders NCLEX books/review are good. Aside from that, just brush up on your math (basic level math, add/sub/div/mutl) for dosage calc/pharm. Since you are a vet, I'm pretty sure you're pretty good with scheduling time to do this and that, keep that up, you'll need it. As soon as you get info on what books you need for the first few classes, pick them up and read right away even if you don't know the assigned readings. Let your family know about nursing school, be prepared to deal with stress, and catch up on your sleep so you get a good sleeping schedule daily!

I just got my acceptance letter yesterday. I am an Army veteran and currently a Firefighter/EMT. I am pretty frickin stoked. Just wanted to say what's up and see if anybody else on here will be attending at that time.
