Just found out...I GOT IN!

I'm in both shock and awe. I received a phone call today from USF's nursing department. I had filled out the online application for the nursing program last weekend for the BSN program, and when I had checked the status, there was an area that said "incomplete." Knowing that I finished all of the prereqs and that I had already been accepted into the university itself, I decided to write an email just to clarify it. I never expected to receive a phone call:rolleyes: . It seems that because I finished all of my prereqs already and my GPA was 3.94, they didn't see why I should have to wait until June to find out that I've been accepted. They are, of course, going to send me an official letter...but I'm so psyched.

Thank you, SmilingBluEyes! I'll be pinching myself until I get my official letter. I feel like all of a sudden I have more of a direction. Since I'm looking at going into nursing education or staff development, getting right into a BSN program means I can save a a year or two (which I would have to do if I go for the ADN first).
