I just applied for the online RN-BSN program. If accepted, I plan to start in May 2013. I would appreciate any feedback on the program. I work fulltime in home health (5 days a week, every 3rd weekend, and on call for 1 week every 6 weeks) and I hope that the program is not too difficult and stressful. Are the mentors/coaches helpful? Are the assignment due dates realistic for the fulltime nurse? Are most of the books, eBooks? I am under the impression that the nursing books are available online at no cost, is this true? Lastly, I hope that UTA will accept my transferrable classes. Can anyone offer any incite to this? I guess I'm just nervous because I don't know what to expect. What does the classwork consist of? Are there lots of online exams and essays?
Any information and opinions are appreciated.
Thanks J
I just got accepted to RN to BSN online . I know you have to check your email through UTA to find your acceptance letter. I am debating whether to go through w UTA. Anyone have any feedback and info on a&p II online w UTA? I need all the help and info I can get
I really enjoyed A&PII online at UTA but I have nothing to compare it to. The instructor's lectures were informative, engaging and funny. The labs are reasonable with looking at pictures and diagrams and answering questions.
Hi DiiiceICU, I was wondering, over all, how is the program going for you? I am starting to have second thoughts because I hope the admission process does not mirror the actual program. How easy is it to contact someone when you need help? Do they respond in a timely manor? Is the work load doable for a full-time working Mom? I was also looking into Grand Caynon University. Their admission process seems a lot quicker meaning its possible to get all the admission items done and start in a week BUT it is very expensive. Do you have quizes and mid-terms?
Thanks
TamTamRN-RRT, same here. Now I am wondering if they will accept most of my transferables (or even if they will accept me). I am also having some difficulity setting up my student email. I watched the tutorial but my prompts are different. I will have to contact the help desk when I have a minute. I am now looking at a start date in July or Aug. according to the enrollment specialist (I guess that's what they are??). I have not consistent person when contacted evry 30 days or so. It seems like they just call to see if I have my ducks in a roll and have no clue what is going on in admissions....Hmmm Hope this is not a sign...lol
