Just applied to UCLA's Winter New Grad Program

I'm still in nursing school and will be graduating in December. I, too, am interested in getting a job at UCLA as a new grad. When did you graduate and when did you take the NCLEX? I just want to plan ahead and apply as soon as I can. Any feedback is appreciated.

just passed the exam last sept.im scheduled to have my interview in ucla on nov 7.i just hope they will hire me.hehe

Congratulations in passing the NCLEX. Did you take in course review class (Kaplan, Hurst)?

I applied sometime in September and the nurse recruiter contacted me the next day but the next interview session is not until November so I have an interview appointment in Nov.

The thruth is I don't know where to go after passing NCLEX...

My sis (an RN) suggested to take an RN Reentry Program at a local College and try to get all cert/ training I need , BLS, ACLS, IV...she said it will be easier to get hired this way...

Any suggestions....

Hi gwafuh, I too, was offered 2 dates in Nov. for the interview. Do you know what the interview process is like by any chance? Seems like everyone is interviewing on the same dates.

elo..i chose nov 7 so i wont be waiting for another week.hehe!!! when and what time is your interview? i dont know what the interview process will be like but they told me to chose 2 areas that i want and 2 persons will be interviewing me. im only having problem with my letter of reccomendation beacause i didnt gradute here in us and they told me that the letter must come from my dean or professor..anyways..i just hope that we will be hire asap.hehe!!!
