Hi Sam,

Thank you so much. If you don’t mind sharing how long each block is? Your experience in the program and if it’s not to much the books we read for each blocked ?

How isthe pressure to achieve 90% and above in order to pass each block? Is it super intense? Are there students who have failed anddropped from the program becausethey failed to get 90% and aboveeven after remediation?

Chyna, yeah the BSN on campus starts in August. From what I understand both the “ABSN” and “BSN” are both accelerated. The only difference is that the “BSN” is held in person while the “ABSN” is hybrid. If that’s incorrect please let me know but that’s how I understood it.

Yeah I think that’s right

But which campus has the “in person” August start date?

Each block has a different time schedule they range from two weeks all the way to six weeks depending on the amount of content they go over. Honestly I did not read any of my books throughout the whole entire program I’m also not a reader so I knew it wouldn’t benefit me like at all there are some people who did read their books and that’s how they studied so I guess it just depends on how you study if it would be beneficial or not

@samantha.bowl94 So pretty much the PowerPoints really helped with passing the exams? That is so good to know.

Most of my class mates didn’t have to retake a single test. I only had to retake on where I got an 85 I think. It wasn’t super difficult however you still need to put in the time and be able to understand what the question is asking to get the answer right if that makes sense! It’s very rare that someone will get dropped from the program due to the amount of chances that you get to achieve the 90%. However I have seen it happen for both the lab portion and the didactic portion.

The lectures are what helped me as well as doing practice questions with peers and what not

Cool. I applied for August. If you don't mind me asking what were your stats and did you get selected for an interview?

I scoured through a lot of the last threads and these were the questions I found that people got asked:

1. Tell us a time you showed compassion in a dire time.

2. Tell me a time when you had to earn the respect of someone.

3. Tell me about a time you went above and beyond.

4. How would you show caring and compassion towards a patients dissatisfied family?

5. How would you handle someone rude?

6. Describe a time when you were in charge of a group project and someone dropped the ball.

7. Tell me about a time when your integrity was questioned: how did you handle the situation?

8. What have you done to prepare for nursing school.

9. How would you handle a negative environment or someone with a negative attitude?

10. Define professionalism. How would you exhibit it?

* I have 16 more questions, I didn't want to post them all and overwhelm you but I can post them if you'd like?

Thank you so much these questions helped prepare so much.

Hey everyone. Had my interview on the 11th, waiting to hear back. Has anyone gotten word?
