Do you know if the VA will pay for the health insurance cost since its a mandatory cost?

I'm not sure, but will definitely find out. If it's included in our tuition cost I think they will. I will get back to you once I find out.

OK, thanks ?

I got into South Jordan! ☺️ Is there a facebook or instagram page for anyone going into Junes cohort for South Jordan? If so, can someone link the page? Thnx!

Congrats!! I'm going to south Jordan too! I don't think there's a FB for South Jordan, I'm just apart of the Henderson one. If you wanted to make a South Jordan group I'd be down to join.

Hello :) I wanted to see if we get a list of the items  we need before school starts

Some essentials for clinicals:

- Stethoscope (I prefer Littman)

- Foldable clip board

- Compression socks

- Pen lights

- White undershirts/ comfortable white shoes (it's the only color you can wear with the clinical scrubs)

Then obvious items like pens and small notebook. I didn't find myself needing scissors, markers, highlighters, since there are always some in the units. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much what about books?

I would rent books on Amazon based on necessity. Some classes you should rent them for are AH1 & 2, pediatrics, maternal newborn, and fundamentals! You can use the books to do expert based review on tests though (which they will tell you about) so use your judgment!

I'm thinking about getting and Apple Watch for nursing school, did they allow you guys to wear them?

It's worth it! Only time you can't wear them is during tests and certain clinicals where you have to scrub in.
