Okay, now I know, being a CNA isn't the most glamorous job. But I am absolutely thrilled!
I am getting into my pre-reqs for my school's RN program and am going to take all the recommended courses as well, one of them being CNA. Now for some reason I misread the eligability requirements and thought I had to wait a year before I could take the class...but low and behold, I can take it next semeser! Oh happy day!
I know its just a stepping stone to becoming an RN, but I'm super excited to just have the oppurtunity to care for people that much sooner! Yay!

Congratulations :) That's the spirit!
I had SUCH a hard time getting into my CNA class at the local CC because EVERYONE in the nursing program had to take it who weren't already CNAs. Guess how many people out of 26 were just regular people not in the nursing program? Me, this older lady, and this chick who dropped out. I used to have to check my email compulsively for a waitlist notification, and finally talked my teacher into overriding me. I know how excited you must be!
