As per the Mumbai Consulate web-site, the EB3 category is now UNAVAILABLE.

Just giving a reminder that nothing is in effect yet until July 1, 2008 (Tues.)

We are still under the June VB and so everyone with a PD before March 1, 2006 are still current until at the end of the month. Pray that your cases gets assigned a number and forwarded to the embassy before July, 1.

Those whose cases are already approaching the 8 weeks limit they set up themselves to do things should be e-mailing or calling NVC up and inquire about their cases.

Not sure if this time around that cases with assigned numbers or were given appointments will not be canceled just like what happened last year but at least your cases would not be anymore with the NVC but with the embassy.
