Hello! I hope to find others who are starting their journey towards their BSN here.
I have taken online classes before, but never any nursing ones.
Is there anything I should invest in (flash drive, notebooks, etc?) My computer is about 7 years old, so I hope it survives.
Any study tips specific to online classes?

I started in January. For July, I'm taking NR 443 Community Health Nursing.
Thanks, I started yesterday.
Are you taking one or two classes a semester? How are you liking it? Tips?
I am taking the same class! I may end up having to get a new computer though. I can't seem to access the student success stuff. So far I haven't had any other problems. "See" you there.
I usually take 2 courses per 8 week session. This is the first time I'm taking 1 class. I have 2 vacations planned this summer and I figured it would be easier just to concentrate on one and not be stressed during vacation.
Online classes require that you have the self-discipline to schedule your free time to get the work accomplished during the week. Budget your time wisely. Make sure you know your APA format because all discussion posts and papers have to be in APA format.
You'll need a computer that has MS Office. I just upgraded to Windows 10 and MS Office 2016. I've had no issues. My laptop is 2 years old.
