JU Jacksonville University ABSN summer 2019

Hey everyone,

I recently had my interview and I’m just anxiously waiting until March 8th when decisions come out. I saw that no one made a page for summer 2019 so I decided to make one and hope others see this!

@LaurenYount Aw, that seems like a more relaxed type of environment for an interview! How many questions did they ask you guys and how long did the interview last in total?? Mine was only 16 minutes with probably like 5 or 6 questions total. It was pretty fast paced going from one question to the next. Originally it was suppose to be a Skype interview, but I guess they couldn’t reach me and decided to just go ahead with a normal phone call instead. Why Jacksonville, huh? That was one of my interview questions ;) haha I mean I’d honestly want to attend that school for many different reasons, it would take way too long to type out ? ughh 1/3 chance is a bummer indeed, but may the odds be ever in our favor! ???

Yea I think ours was over an hour but that’s because there were 5 of us in the interview. Our questions were typical job interview questions.

Yeah same here, I was so nervous with the first question they asked me and toward the end of what I was saying, it felt like I was mumbling. it just seemed like my experience compared to the other two girls were minimal and they were doing extravagant things in the health care field. The interviewers just seemed so impressed with them and were asking follow up questions but not with what I had to say. Which is why I don’t think I’m getting accepted, and I’m praying on a miracle.

So what is your degree in if you work retail? Just curious. I mean they love diversity it is part of their mission statement so I’m hope that means backgrounds as well as everything else

My degree is in public health, I haven’t had any luck finding a job in that field because they always you to have at least two years experience or a masters

Does anyone know if they send out rejections or waitlists? I still haven’t received anything! Congrats to you two though

I also just received news that I got accepted! Congrats guy!! :)) Ahhhh!! ? @LaurenYount for whatever reason I did not get a direct email from them. I had to search the school in my email list & that’s when it popped up!! So, try doing that and maybe it will pop up. Or in general just open up your application for Jacksonville and see if they posted anything for you- that’s how I was able to check my results. I hope you get in!! ??

Where would it be on the application. I just see my checklist

@LaurenYount it’s at the top of the page, you don’t even have to scroll down. It’s right under “forms”, it states :

“Status Update

An update to your application was last posted March 7, 2019.

View Update >>”

I just clicked on “view update” and that is when it transferred me to my acceptance letter. If you don’t see it, maybe they haven’t updated yours yet
