JPS Nurse Residency Feb/March 2024

Published

I wanted to make a forum for those who have applied or will be applying to John Peter Smith Hospital for residency for February/March 2024 cohort?

I have applied and actually have an interview finally scheduled. Does anyone have any insight on the interview process?

any news?

Haven't heard anything yet. When I talked to the recruiter last week she said we should know either way by early this week but likeeee its Wednesday already... Has anyone else tried calling the recruiter to ask for an update? I just don't want to bother her anymore LOL

I only heard from Correctional Health. and im trying to be optimistic and not email her but my goodness. So im supposed them (CH) know something by today. so IDK.

CH for JPS? If so, I would call the recruiter and ask her since you already have an offer for CH and tell her you are wondering if the other units have made a decision yet that way you can make a decision for yourself. But also you can always accept the position and if you hear back from your top unit you can rescind your acceptance for the other job.

yes. I emailed the recruiter to ask if the other units have made their decision. I'll let you know if she responds.

girl. wait, IDK if youre a woman or not LOL.

Critical Care and Emergency Services are always in high demand and both are full. Keep in mind that you have the ability to request a division transfer at 6-months if you would still like to complete part of your residency in CC.

thats what the recruiter said.
